We loved staying at Hollow Tree - it is such an idyllic setting and the cottage is lovely inside and out. The garden is really sheltered and quite a sun trap for early morning coffee or a drink in the evening by the pond at the back. It’s also really handy for our favourite beaches and not too far from the shops in Redruth. It’s great having a freezer as you can stock up for the week too. Looking forward to a return trip soon we hope!

We had the most amazing 2 week stay in July 2023. We had 2 teenagers with us and it was perfect for us. The beach is 8 minutes drive away and the washing line and hose was handy for our wet suits. Plenty of parking and the garden at the front got sun most of the day. We enjoyed eating outside and also keeping warm by the fire. Kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms had everything needed. Julie was very responsive when we needed anything and very helpful when disaster struck with our car. Would love to return soon.

We loved our 2 week stay at this beautiful cottage. It's in a very quiet location and is well positioned for travelling to all the fabulous attractions in Cornwall. The Cottage is well furnished and the beds are very comfortable. Beautiful garden at the front which is a sun trap. Would highly recommend this cottage and would stay here again. Would also recommend Olde Penny's Tea Room and Portreath Tandoori which are just a very short drive from the cottage.

Absolutely lovely cottage with everything you need for a visit. Great location easy access to surrounding areas, gardens are a bonus and sitting outside the cottage enjoying the late afternoon sun was magical. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage as a place to stay in Cornwall.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage and found everything to be very clean and well organized. The location is very convenient and we had some lovely walks and tried the local cider just up the road. There is also an Aldi a few miles away which is always a bonus. One tip if visiting the area in the near future, book restaurants well in advance, due to the national shortage of hospitality staff!

We stayed at Hollow Tree cottage for a week in August 2021. Unfortunately time went far too quickly.
We had a lovely time, the Cottage was perfect in every way. Very comfortable, cosy and situated very conveniently to places to visit. Very quiet too. Added bonus of having the tram walk to Portreath at the end of the drive.
Our dogs settled down really well and and it felt like home.

Hollow Tree Cottage was perfect, well maintained, peaceful, beautiful gardens with water features, plenty of places to eat alfresco. Two beautiful beaches just over 2 miles away. Will definitely recommend and revisit.

Had a lovely week . The cottage is in a great location for visiting just about anywhere in Cornwall, with easy access to the A30.
